5.4.1 AS01.03 — Basic sound recording Record
This is the Record used to communicate data about sound recordings and music videos that have been sold or used individually or as part of a release where musical work data is not available to the licensee and is contained in a DSR message created in accordance with the Basic Audio Profile, the UGC Profile, the Royalty Reporting Profile, the Radio Broadcast Reporting Profile and the Masterlist Profile.

The value true in the The value false in the To meet the structural requirements of the profiles in the DSR standard the licensee needs to create its own sound recording if content has been uploaded by an end user (for example to a user generated content service). Such licensees then need to alert the licensor not to try to match such a created sound recording to any other sound recording data the licensor may have received from other licensees as the only purpose of a created sound recording is to enable the provision data about the musical work.
