ResourceISRC

An ISRC comprises four parts: two characters, followed by three alphanumeric characters, then two digits and five digits.

A value in the ResourceISRC Cell is mandatory if available to the licensee. This field is important for licensors for their processing and would ideally be mandatory in this part of the DSR standard. However, as there are rare cases where licensees genuinely do not have this data, the Cell is conditional.

IsMasterRecording

A flag indicating if the sound recording which is the subject of the Record is a "master recording" or not.

The value true in the IsMasterRecording Cell would indicate that the resource is a master sound recording received by the licensee from a record company or distributor or for which the licensee has received a claim from a record company.

The value false in the IsMasterRecording Cell would indicate that the resource was uploaded by an end user.

To meet the structural requirements of the profiles in the DSR standard the licensee needs to create its own sound recording if content has been uploaded by an end user (for example to a user generated content service).

Such licensees then need to alert the licensor not to try to match such a created sound recording to any other sound recording data the licensor may have received from other licensees as the only purpose of a created sound recording is to enable the provision data about the musical work.

Boolean

M

13 (up-dated)

IsSubjectTo OwnershipConflict

A flag indicating whether the sound recording contained in the resource is, in the view of the licensee, subject to an ownership conflict.

Such a conflict might be detected while generating the DSR message, which may (or may not) be the last day of the reporting period.

Boolean

M

14

LastConflictCheck

The date that the licensee last checked its system, before producing the DSR message, to determine whether the sound recording which is the subject of the Record is in conflict or not.
