The value in the CommercialModel Cell defines how an end user has paid for or otherwise accessed the service offering the releases and/or resources.

UseType

A description of the way in which an end user uses a service. 

The value in the UseType Cell also enables the communication of which type of device an end user has used to access the service. This is achieved by using the UseType value UseAsDevice.

A value in the UseType Cell is mandatory if there is no UseType on the relevant sales and/or usage data Record(s).

Territory

The name of the territory in which the sales and/or usage being reported took place.

ServiceDescription

The service offering/tier under which the sales and/or usage data in the SY Record took place. 

Where the licensee is reporting sales and/or usage data for one service offering/tier in the DSR message the value in the ServiceDescription shall be the same as the value for ServiceDescription in the HEAD Record. 

A value in the ServiceDescription Cell is mandatory if the licensee is reporting sales and/or usage date for multiple service offerings/tiers in the DSR message or determined by the bilateral agreement between the licensee and the licensor. The identification of each such multiple services is essential to the processing of the DSR message by the licensor. 

The value in the ServiceDescription Cell may not contain space characters or underscores.

UsageForPrioritisation

The total of the values in the UsageForPrioritisation Cells in all ML01 Records.
